How to tell if the 2008 update was applied?

Hello all,

A few months back I bought an Outlaw 990 to use as a preamp for some Adam Audio powered speakers. Everything is great, except I need to tone down the bass in some sources (esp. movies). I wanted to know if there was a way to check if the 2008 update had been applied?

With the 990 in standby, press the input and enter buttons together and release them. The firmware version will show on the 990's display. The product page for the 990, found at the bottom of the product page under legacy stuff, shows the last version as 3_24. If you see that, then you should be good.
Or, check out the list of updates from the software link on the 990 product page and check if yours has these features.
