2nd Zone Amp Advice - 09/06/05 09:51 PM

Hi folks! Looking for some advice from you all. Lookin to FINALLY replace my very old school Pioneer receiver that I've been using to drive my in house audio. (2nd Zone) Here's what I've been thinking of: (Keep in mind that my budget does not allow for 2 M200's...)

1. Onkyo M-282 can be had for about $230.
2. Local dealer has a used Parasound HCA750 Amp for $249.00.
3. Different local dealer can get me Rotel RB-1050 for about $350.00. (Currently have a RMB-1075 that I'm very happy with...)

Keep in mind that I have never heard any of these amps and it IS only for 2nd zone...... Any help is appreciated....

As always, Thanks in advance....

pretty funny Painttoad... But you nailed it. I have a pair of B&W CWM650 inwall speakers in my Kitchen, a pair of SpeakerCraft MT6Two inwalls in the living room, another pair of the same in the garage, and a pair of SpeakerCraft WS710 speakers on my deck. Speaker selector is a SpeakerCraft 4 pair with volume control and impedence matching. (Read performance choking...)
