Outlaw 750 Or B&K 5125 - 03/02/02 06:03 PM

Trying to decide on an 5 channel amp. Looking at Outlaws 750 or a B&K 5125, although B&K Reference isn't out of the question. I'd be able to get easy access to any B&K since I live 10 mins away from their factory in Buffalo, NY.
any suggestions???

If you're looking to buy new, look at the Outlaw Model 755 (which has replaced the now out-of-stock 750 and will begin shipping in the next few weeks). It uses the same design as the Outlaw 770, but with only five channels and will sell for $1299. The 755 is probably comparable in price to the 5125, but offers more power per channel. The 755 is bigger (around 2.5 inches taller and 2 inches deeper, and 35 pounds heavier).

Supposedly the 770 and 755 are an improvement over the original 750, which bodes well for their performance (I had some time this afternoon to sit down and listen to some music for the first time in weeks, and really was reminded of how nice the system sounded, and a fair piece of the credit there goes to the 750).
