Do you plug your 750 into a line conditioner? - 04/24/01 01:04 AM

I was thinking about buying one of the Monster Cable Line conditioners. It will run the whole system. Do you think it will supply enough current for the 750? I want the most from my amp.

I have both my 750 and my 1050 going through a Monster LC (the '5000 I think it is). No problems. And I wouldn't expect any unless the outlet was underpowered in the first place.

Make sure you get one that has a high current outlet on it, so as not to restrict the power of your amp. The monster HTS2000 is there lowest priced lc that has that option.

I hook my 750 to Panamax 1500 line conditioners in an outlet labeled "amp/sub". Is it a high current outlet? How do I know how high current is enough for 750?
Thanks,

Hanson

If the amp and line conditioner is the only thing on this circuit then it's ok. I would not recommend put an amp of this power on the same circuit as any other item(s) that draw a decent amount of power (line rear projection TVs, subwoofers, etc) as this amp can actually draw the standard 15 amp that most circuits are limited too.

I have a dedicated 20 amp outlet just for my equipment. I plug my Monster Cable HTS-5000 into this outlet and all my components into the HTS-5000. Works great...
