HD Video Switching

HD Video Switching - 10/06/03 01:49 PM

The only reservation I had purchasing my beloved 950 was the fact that it only switches 2 HD video sources. I now have a 3rd HD source (DVD, Xbox, and HDTV cable) -- unfortunately, my TV only has one input that handles 480p / 1080i. As such, one of these devices is being left out in the cold.

Can anyone recommend a good quality, reasonably priced video switch that will handle HD bandwidth. One that's IR controllable would be a bg plus.

Thanks

Hi Roberth
Over at hometheaterforum.com they have a thread that has been discussing inexpensive HD component switching. The HD component switching thread is on the Receivers/Separates/Amps subforum.

Before long I'll have to bite this apple as well. From what I've read the Zektor HDS4 impresses me most. http://www.zektor.com/hds4/index.htm

Thanks for the suggestions! I went with the Inday RGB4X-R. While it's not the prettiest box in the world, it works like a champ.
