Could someone please post the Pronto code for power off?

I don't know if you have already done this or not, but have you checked out the CCF files at Remote Central ? There are three files there for the 950. I don't know if that gets you what you need or not.

My CCF is at RemoteCentral. I did a complete redesign of it, but have not uploaded that yet.

The 950 can be turned on by using the code for an input, that means when it is off, you press vcr and it turns on to vcr. I ONLY use the actual power button for OFF. That is the way I got around the discrete codes.

If you want my newest CCF, email me at

I don't have a Pronto, but I think this might work:
0000 006D 0022 0002 0155 00AB 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 06F8 0155 0055 0016 0E46
If it doesn't, I do know there is a discrete Off code for the 950 and one a One-for-all remote. The EFC is 181 (the Outlaw uses NEC:64:64 - I have no idea what this means, but it has something to do with the infrared protocol it uses). The EFC discrete Power On code is 187. This progr am is supposed to convert CCF files to ECF, dunno about vice versa.
This might work as discrete on:
0000 006D 0022 0000 0155 00AB 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 00AB

Good luck, and let us know if it works.

Tested the codes you posted. They worked! Congrats on hacking the discrete codes!

Yes indeed...the first code works perfectly as a discrete off, and the second code, as a discrete on. Thanks indeed!

Any chance of hacking the toggle MUTE to make a discrete mute on, and a discrete mute off??

Would very much appreciate any effort to do this!

I don't think there is one, just a mute toggle. The EFC code is 037, and I think the Pronto code is:
0000 006D 0022 0002 0155 00AB 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 06F8 0155 0055 0016 0E47

Since this post had to do with discrete codes thought I'd post my question here. In one of the CCF files on remotecentral I noticed a 'Multi' button. Is this a toggle for the multi-room function? Thanks

Re: Power Off Pronto code for 950? - 05/29/03 07:45 PM

That is (I presume) the button to cycle through the multi-zone menus (multi-zone on/off, multi-zone input, multi-zone volume, ...). That would match the button label on the 950's remote, at least.

Re: Power Off Pronto code for 950? - 06/07/03 09:27 AM

Is there any possiblity for a "multiple" volume code (ie to simulate a longer volume button press)??

The present Pronto volume codes are:

Vol Down:

0000 006d 0022 0002 0155 00ab 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 06fb 0155 0055 0016 0e4e

Volume Up:

0000 006d 0022 0002 0155 00ab 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 06fb 0155 0055 0016 0e4e

Would greatly appreciate any help on this!
