Help!!!!

Question about hookup

Hooking up the 950 using S-video until I order a longer component cable. Can't get video.

I have the dvd s-video out to the 950. The monitor out from the 950 to the television. Also, using video-1 for cable set top box and it works, but no video from DVD player. What am I doing wrong??? Can't the 950 be used for all of the switching.

If you are using component out from the 950 to the tv, it will not work. The 950 can change s video to composite and vice versa, but it will not input one of these types and output to component. It does not upconvert from composite or s video to component.

I'm not, but I figured it out. The monitor out doesn't display s-video from the dvd input. Although it did display s-video from video-1 from my set top box (and I don't think is should according to the manual).

I was using the monitor output and it should only output component sources from video-1 and DVD.

Hell, I don't know??? Manual seems to contradict itself.....

Ok, the drugs have worn off and everything is working as it is supposed to.
