Will the 950 have this feature? Some vendors call it upsampling, some remastering. I haven't heard it, but I hear it improves the sound on CD playback.

I guess we never did find out if the 950 will upsample PCM inputs or do any sort of smoothing logic. Anybody out there know?

According to the spec. sheet for the Cirrus Logic 24/192 DACs they are using it seems to have some sort of "enhancement" of 44.1 and 48 kHz signals.
Whether that entails upsampling these signals to 88.2 and 96 kHz or not, I don't know.
