You'll need to post the pics online somewhere. You can try a site like flickr.com, or check your PM's for my e-mail address and I can post 'em on my site for you.

I gaze in awe at your Dad's cabinetry skills! When I was married, I had a 2.5 car garage that I turned into a wood shop, but these days I live in a condo and my living room is now the wood shop/electronics lab/computer room/parts warehouse......

When I decided I could not live another day without one of those new-fangled big screen telly visions, I went down to the local home depot and bought a 4x8 sheet of ¾" oak plywood and some threaded pipe and built a stand that would hold said big screen telly vision AND give me a place to put the maggie center speaker. It's screwed together so I can knock it down and move it, total cost was under $150 for wood, metal, stain, screws, wheels, etc.

That third shot is great! The concealed lighting on the Rotel faceplate looks really sharp.

oaqm,
Very nice...... very nice.
Looks like we have a winner. One of the very few set-ups using and supporting a large center speaker.

Sweet. Looks like i have a new future home project......
