LFM-1 with Klipsch - 01/01/05 03:00 PM

I am looking into getting Klipsch new F-3 (Synergys) for home theater and for music...anyone have any feedback or comments on this with the LFM-1 (...and 950/7100) combo?
Thanks,
Bill

Aside from the much higher efficiency, the F-3's have specs that are pretty close to my main speakers, and those have matched up very nicely with the LFM-1. It sounds like a fine choice to me.

As ALWAYS...thanks for your input...I had tried to purchase my 950/7100/LFM-1 online but Outlaw said their server was down...I have been climbing the walls since Thursday when this happened (I will contact them Monday by phone) ...anyone suffer from the "Now that I made my decision, I want the stuff yesterday" syndrome???
Thanks,
Bill

I have Klipsch Legends KLF 20s for my main and an LFM. It is a great combination. Thought the sub would not add much since my 20s can get down below 40Hz. Boy, was I wrong. The LFM is very musical and filled the bottom very well. Enjoy when you finally get it.

Silversport,
I have used the phone myself.....and the folks at Outlaw are "wildly" efficient. Your "stuff" will be sent the same day & probably get to Illinois in 2 days. Have fun!

Outlaw stuff arrived, shipped excellently and all double boxed...not even the damaged exterior box could cause its carefully packed prize to be damaged!
Slowly making the hook-ups...need new connectors!

Silversport,

I'm interested in your thoughts on the LFM-1. Output and integration with your Klipsch. Music and Movies?

I haven't gotten to movies yet but with 2.1 music...beautiful and my Heresys can concentrate on the mids and hi's...I was always afraid of subs, thinking they were poor substitutes for weak speakers...and always hearing the cars going by with the thumpity thump...you don't have to have that...it COMPLIMENTS your mains and sounds great.
