Curious as well...A sub is one place I think I could really add to my config. The June newsletter mentioned pictures...

Well, by now the Outlaws have must have gotten all the bugs worked out, fine tuned this pup to perfection, and are more than happy with the results, so.....I'm ready....I think we're all ready....lets start lettin' loose with some real info....stuff we've been waiting to check out about the new LFM-1... time to unveil one of the latest and greatest products from Outlaw.....
How about some real info......specs, price, availability, pictures, pictures......did I say pictures??
come on...
today would be a good day.......
I think that we've all waited pretty patiently since this was announced in June, so Outlaws, where the heck are the pics, specs, cripes post anything!
Take a black box and put a label on it, just give me something to look at. Or an update on the production status, "this fall" is pretty dang vague.

Nate, great screen name. I can't wait for the 5th book.
And to stay within the thread topic, lets see some pictures of the LFM-1.

SVS just announced several new subs, including a $900 PB2-ISD. The PB2+ is $1200, and probably out of my reach. A nearly-as-good and less expensive PB2-ISD may push me to make a purchase. I have waited about as long as I can to be a faithful Outlaw, and if there is not info soon on the Outlaw sub, it will be too late for me (and probably many others).

Jed, thanks for the props! I've been waiting for the 5th book for a while, to know that it's finally on the way is outstanding.
And I'm with Michael, they told us about this thing months ago and said that info would be available in two weeks time. Since then I've been checking the site every week with the hopes of something, heck, anything relating to the LFM. I even emailed the Outlaws at one point and their response was that they don't have an update for the web yet and that they still anticipate a "fall" delivery date.
For the love of Pete, you guys are headquatered in Mass, I've got a digital camera, give me a buzz and I'll come down to you.

I have begged as much as anyone for info but according to the latest newsletter, it will be about a month more before we get more details:

Missed me. Ordered a SVS PB2-ISD. Feel a bit guilty, like I am cheating on Outlaw, but the time and price were right, and I pulled the trigger.
[crickets] Late fall is fast approaching and still no sign of anything resembling an LFM-1... [/crickets]

Mid-November and still no sign of life for the LFM-1. I guess I am going to have to buy one of the new Hsu subs

me too, this sucks. At least give us a picture so we know what we are waiting for. I think I'll be going with the HSU too, I can't wait any longer when I don't even know what I'm waiting for.

Damn, Looks like I'm first to read the manual. I guess there is an advantage to scanning audio sites late at night!!!

Maybe I'm second to read it. Looks like a nice piece at a nice price. It looks uncannily similar (box specs and frequency response) to the upcoming Hsu STF-3. As it has been mentioned that Dr. Hsu assisted on this project, is it fair to say the STF-3 and LFM-1 are clones? LFM-1 is $20 cheaper though.
In the LFM-1 manual (Scattered Subs section) I think there should be a note on the ICBM (allowing for stereo set-up etc) rather than just mentioning a Y connector.
