1050 memory loss

1050 memory loss - 03/14/01 07:15 PM

If my receiver is unplugged or I lose power for more than a couple of minuets all settings are lost, including radio stations and speaker level settings. The receiver reverts back to its default settings and requires system configuration reprogramming. Anyone else notice this? Seems to me the receiver should memorize settings alot longer than this.

Mine was unplugged for about 36 hours once, and all settings were retained.

After shipping mine -- and being unplugged for more than a week -- all my settings were retained.

After a one hour city-wide blackout, all of my settings were just fine. Sounds like the battery back-up,(something that most modern electronics have), is probably at fault. I'm sure that the Outlaws will cover it on the warranty.

I had mine unplugged for ten days while I was out of town ... all settings were retained. Just FWIW. {shrug}
