Signed up for XM Radio today.

Purchased a Delphi Receiver at Best Buy and it sounds UNBELEIVABLE running through the 1050.

No hiss, no distortion just excellent sound quality.

I have it running through the Aux. connections.

I've been thinking about XM Radio. Does your monthly fee cover every location you use it in? or do you have to pay for car/work/home units separately? (or do you have one unit you can carry to different locations?)

I am still absorbing the cost of the IPod I bought a few weeks ago, but am thinking about trying XM Radio out.

I got the Delphi Skyfi on Friday and have it running into my 950. Sound is good but I must turn the volume up a bit higher than other inputs. Anyone experience this?

I have noticed the same thing in running the Delphi through my 1050. I too have to turn the volume up high but I have had no problem with speaker distortion. (ADS L1090's).

There is a way to increse the output of the Delphi but I haven't tried that yet.

I have turned up the gain on my Delphi XM Receiver and now I do not have to turn up the volume on the 1050 up so high.

I will reply again after I have ran it this way fro a while

I have been running my XM receiver with the gain turned up for a few days and I do not have to turn up the volume on the 1050 so high.
