Did you check all RCA and speaker wire connections? There could be a loose strand on there in addition to something being wired wrong. What speakers are they? What type of load do they present?

According to the manual, a red indicator light indicates protect mode. The first step would be to check your speaker wires to make sure you don't have a short anywhere.

front speakers are paradigm studio100v3's.power rating is up to 350 watts. i have a 200 on each one,so it's 200 watts a speaker. re-wired speaker wire to speaker, and checked amp cons..about 20mins. after i did all this including above stuff, red light went green.not sure what to make of it.maybe i fixed it,maybe i didn't?

In all likelihood, you had the positive and negative speaker cables touching somewhere along the way (either at the amp or at the speaker), possibly even just a few strands reaching over at the speaker to touch the opposite binding post. By re-wiring, you probably eliminated the condition, which would allow the M200 to get out of protect mode.

thought we had this one fix. NOT.SAME AMP TURNED RED,AT THE SAME VOLUME.i bought the m-200 blocks new, not scartch and dent refurbished.this is bullshit.IT IS NOT MY SPEAKER WIRE,OR ONE OF MY CONNECTIONS.maybe it is the amp.has anyone else had this problem? THIS IS MAKING ME WISH I BOUGHT ELSE WHERE. AND ANY OTHER BRAND.BULLSHIT.

Relax, call tech support, use better discretion with the words you type. Just because it's a saloon we don't need to talk like it's a bar.

amp went green 15 mins. later. maybe, and not sure, the amp is going into protective mode. i've had these amps for 4 months. never did it before. the same power is going into the right speaker, as the left, but the left kicks out[ the amp, not the speaker].

JulioCat has some good suggestions, but Keta does to - Outlaw has some very responsive support personnel who are available by phone (866-688-5292) or online . They'll take good care of you, just give them the opportunity to do so.

thanks for all the advice.my anger was not directed at any members, sorry if you took it that way.not having my stero/home thearter system working the way it should bothers me.anyways i'll check the wires again, and switch speakers and see what happens.one other thing about when it kicks out,it's at high volumes.just wondering if the amp is peaking, then protecting itself? but why not the other speaker? i don't know, just thought i'd put that last idea out there.

Per gonk, get in touch with Outlaw. You can spend all week in here fishing for ideas, but remember that no one in here gets paid to help you, whereas the Outlaws do.

If your anger isn't directed at the members, then please don't direct it in here, since that's all you'll find in these parts.
