Just wondering what an "Error 500" means when attempting to complete the order process for an Outlaw RR2150 receiver. Everything seemed to be fine until the very last (I think) page. I received one of those automated replies thanking me for my order, but no order number was given or anything like that. What might I have done wrong?

I'm buying my first brand-new receiver in 28 years, so I want to do it right!

I've already got a request in to Customer Service, so you can ignore this, if you wish!

500 means your browser timed out before the Outlaw web site responded to its (your browser's) last request. Given that you probably broke off to email Outlaw customer service, you can't pick up where you left off, so talking to their customer service is your best next step.

Thanks, LP! Hopefully, much of what I submitted was still retained by the system. In any event, I can give them a call first thing in the am (8 CT), and get it resolved.

It's strange. I just heard about this unit a couple of days ago, and now I want it so bad I can almost taste it over my bourbon! (Just kidding, kind of!).

An "Error 500" is sort of a general-purpose "oops" error for a web browser. For some reason, there was a problem with loading the last page. If you got an automated reply thanking you for the order, then I am pretty sure the order went through, but customer service can confirm for certain tomorrow.
