preamp or not?

Ordered the rr2150 and should be here couple of days. Has anyone set up their system with a preamp?

guess I should have read the specs before purchase. it's a reciever and I'm thinking amp...lmbo
breaking it in last 24 hours and it sounds sweeter and sweeter by the hour. think i will connect that carver 11b and compare tuners tho...*grinz
