Can I Bi-Amp main speakers in 5 speaker config - 12/03/02 10:41 PM
Is it possible to use 4 amp outputs to bi-amp main speakers in a 5 speaker config?
If so, how do I split pre-amp output to two amp inputs?
May be a dumb question..
Thanks in advance,
JDB

Yes, it is possible! You'll need RCA splitters to divide the pre-amp output signal so you can connect each pre-amp signal to two amp channels. Radio Shack has some simple ones, but there are also a few more exotic offerings floating around.

Gonk may be talking about these:
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F002%5F001%5F030%5F000&product%5Fid=42%2D2539
I use the 6 inch version. I biamp L,R, & C and think these cables are fine.

Yep, that's it, and I'd recommend the 6" version.
