770...on the floor?

Trust me I would rather not have it on the floor, but my rack has a 50 pound limit (trust me it does) and can in now way support the 770 AND the other gear. How safe is it to have it on the floor, UNDER the rack on a hardwood floor?

Hardwood floor? Should be OK. If it were a carpeted floor, I'd recommend an amp stand (think very short table for your amp), but as long as the bottom is clear it should work.

Yeah Hardwood flooring, no carpets!

I'll have to see if there is room for it as it is under there. If there is enough I guess I might put something under it to be safe.

A new rack is next on my list, any suggestions?

For those who have carpet, a piece of wood should do the trick. If you don't like that you could paint it or use very thin commercial grade carpet, like that in office building or a hotel.

I use 1x1 blocks that I cut in pops garage to elevate my gear...but that's just because I'm still trying to find a rack that matches my TV stand.
