950 Stopped Working - 12/27/10 12:35 PM

I believe the fuse is blown but I'm not sure. Can anyone advise me on how to switch out the fuse for it? Thanks in advance.

Never mind. Found the fuse and had it tested at RadioShack and the fuses weren't the problem. I guess there's something seriously wrong with the unit and it's time to move on to something else.

Let it "rest" for a couple of days unpowered and then try it out. Sounds nuts but there have been alot of instances where it will work for a while after being depowered overnight.

Thanks for the advise but unfortunately it did not work. The unit stopped working a while ago and I had it unplugged sitting in its box for several months while I moved. I plug it back in yesterday and it was still unable to power up. My guess is the power stage somehow fizzled out and I would imagine that would cost a few dollars to fix. Any other advise or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Pull the trigger on a new 970 on eBay just now! Decided to stay within the family and continue the Outlaw tradition. Long live the 950.

Excellent choice for the new year. What amp are you connecting to it?

Acurus A125x5 that will be connected to the 970 with Outlaw's own PCA interconnects.

I've got a later gen. 950 sitting around unused right now (using an Anthem...). If you really want to stay with a 950, maybe you'd be interested in mine. Let me know.
