I think the Outlaw era in this house is over. After a week of the digital inputs intermitantly failing to lock I came home from work toady to find it totally out of commission. No power. Pulled the plug for a reset. Nothing.

I read through the relatively recent thread on the plague of 950 deaths and saw that gonk mentioned a fuse. Do these things have an internal power fuse? I'd hate to junk it without checking for something as simple as a fuse. And before people recoil in horror at the mention of 'junk' and 'Outlaw' in the same sentence please understand that I did contact Steve when the digital inputs were going hinkey and verified that it is out of warranty. I will not be returning this for service. I was just curious if anyone had found any relarively simple resurrective measures for the ol 950.

Even if you don't plan to ship it back to Outlaw for service, I'd suggest a call to the Outlaws to pick their brain a bit about the options.

I found one of the four 2V 250V fuses blown. I replaced it and it ran for a couple hours but then blew again. I bought fast blow but wasn't really sure if it was a fast or slow blow fuse. I'll see if they have any info for me. Thanks.
