950 - Switching Surround Speakers

Does the 950 have the ability to use a different speaker configuration when listening to movies and audio? For example, I would like my rear speakers (for movies) to function as my surround speakers for surround channel audio. Thus, when listening to surround channel audio, my movie surround speakers would be off.

Is this type of configuration possible with the 950?

I'm afraid that the 950 does not support this sort of configuration. Some people have discussed external switching arrangements to facilitate this, however.
