Does the ces processing work on a 5 speaker system?

The CES processing (like Dolby EX and DTS ES) is included only to provide a rear surround signal, so it is not used in a five speaker system. A five speaker system would be able to use Pro Logic II, DTS-NEO:6, 5 Stereo, Dolby Digital, or DTS processing (depending on the source signal).

Thanks, that is what I thought. One more. When I put the 950 on standby the 7100 should go into standby as well, right? Mine does not seem to enter standby mode. (green light stays on - I'm not sure if it is supposed to or not. If it is the unit still remains very warm and on). Not a big deal but any thoughts why.

I assume you have the 950's trigger output connected to the 7100, of course. I'm not sure how the 7100 behaves with a trigger, but I think I've heard from owners of 7100's, 755's, and 770's say that the green light doesn't turn off. (My 750 is different, so I could be wrong.) When you turn the 950 back on, does the 7100 "click" a moment or so later?
