Bose 901s - 03/31/04 12:58 PM

Does anyone know if the Outlaw 950 is compatible with the Bose 901 equalizer?

If so how would you connect them up?

The Bose 901 equalizer can be placed between the 950's pre-amp outputs and the power amp inputs. That would be the only way to use the 901's EQ with the 950. I'm not sure what role the EQ would play, as I'm not at all familiar with what the EQ module does with these speakers (plus my Bose experience has been purely with the Acoustimass products, which has left me with a strong anti-Bose tendency).

I am using the Bose 901s for my rears at this time. It isn't too bad but don't really need 18 speakers in the rear, oh well....

I currently am running PSB Silver Stratus' for my fronts.

Thanks for your response Gonk....

You should be able to simply locate the EQ between the rear channel preamp outputs and the power amp inputs for those channels. No problem from the 950's standpoint.
