DC Trigger cable/wire

DC Trigger cable/wire - 11/20/03 10:24 AM

Just received my 950 pre/pro. I am using it with my Outlaw 750 poweramp. The 950 did not come with a DC trigger cable to connect the two. Anybody know where I can get one. Also what would be the part # ?

I think Outlaw's newer amps have a trigger cable included, but our 750's did not. I got my trigger cable at Radio Shack (actually had one lying around already, but that's sort of unusual). I have this link on the Saloon Links page (under accessories), and it even still works -- part number 42-2420 is a 6' mono 1/8" phono plug cable that should get you fixed right up. Costs a whopping $2.99.

gonk, sort of on this subject.

I was thinking about using the trigger to power on my home theater PC through the PS2 port or the network card.

You wouldn't happen to know what the voltage is on the 950 trigger port would you?
I didn't see a value in the manual.
If it's 12Vdc I don't think I can us it because the PS2 ports are 5Vdc.

50mA @ 12 VDC (page 46 of the manual under the General Specifications heading).
