stacking 950 and 7100

Is it ok to have the 950 sit directly on top of the 7100 in a cabinet? Or will there be too much heat from the 7100 harming the 950?

The 7100 ought to have at least an inch and a half or two inches of breathing room, for its sake and for the sake of anything above it.

It may go against some other sensibilities, but if you have only one place to put your gear, perhaps use some appropriate spacing/supporting items and place the 7100 on top of the 950 with 'free and clear' air above the 7100? Remeber the 950 needs a little airflow, but at least the 950 will not be bathed in pre-heated air and 'relatively normal' air would still be entering the 7100 from underneath, assuming you leave some space there.

Never stack components. Each component must have its own isolation, either pods, pyramids, etc.. Also use good cable management and never have power cables next to any of your interconnects. Picky, but sonically makes a big difference.
