950 right front channel intermittent

I have a 950 and the right front channel will sometimes go dead. If I raise the volume to a fairly high level, the channel starts working again. The connections have all been cleaned/re-seated so the problem is likely internal. Anyone know what the cause of that might be and where I might look first?
