How to connect 2 subs and what wire to use?

How do you connect 2 subs to an amplifier with one sub output? I am building a new home theater room and need to prewire, what is the best wire to install for the subs? The runs will be about 10' and 30'.

splite the pre-out into two seperate lines. you can do this with one y-adapter, male to two female.
