I see a few threads discussing the ease of the Model 975 installation, but no comments about the manual?
I'm actually kind of blown away by this one. Prior Outlaw Audio manuals have always been decent, in my opinion, but this one takes the cake. The clarity of the text and the detail of the accompanying illustrations really made this darn near a "no brainer" in terms of both physical installation and software configuration!
I read the manual, cover to cover, over the course of a day or so (I only had a few minutes of "free" time here and there over Christmas eve (when I received this gift) and Christmas). Everything sounded simple and looked straight forward. When I got down to the installation on Wednesday ... it took between 15 & 20 minutes to carefully disconnect the Model 1050 and all of the various cables behind the rack. It then took maybe 2 to 3 minutes to install the Model 975 and the four HDMI cables & the feeds to the Model 750. Add another 4-5 minutes to run through the software config and I was up and running in well under 10 minutes. A very pleasant experience that had been made just that much easier.
I look at other recent owners/setup manuals I've worked with and this was just so easy to work with and understand ... I was just a little surprised to see no one else mention it.
