Does anyone have their Sub on an Auralex GRAMMA? If so is there any noticeable improvement?

I currently have my X-12 on carpet over concrete and with the spikes there is only about 1/2" clearance from the bottom of the sub to the carpet. (Can't slide my hand under it)

I'm concerned about bottoming out if I crank the sub. Does anyone know what the throw of the X-12 is? All the manual says is "long".

I have the LFM-1EX on an Auralex GRAMMA just to get it off the floor a little and isolate it from my room. My room is carpeted so I was concerned about the cone hitting the carpet. My LFM sits on its spiked feet right on the GRAMMA. The GRAMMA is designed such that it is carpeted where the sub sits on it. If the sub can't bottom out on the floor it wont bottom out on the GRAMMA. The best thing about it is the isolation function. The sub doesn't walk around like it could on a solid surface and you can hardly see it under the sub.
