Just wondering about buying the 7500!

For the price it beats a lot of 2-3 channels 200 watt amps I have been perusing.

I'm currently running my 7500 to drive LCR in a 3.1 setup, at least until I get the surrounds mounted and rear amplifier setup. I use all 5 channels of the 7500 in my setup, passively bi-amping my Martin Logan reQuests (LR) with the remaining channel going to my ML Cinema.

I noticed a significant improvement with the 7500 over the 7125, which was a small improvement over the Classe CAV-75 which preceded it. I am estatic with the performance of the 7500.

I use my 755 to run four channels of a 4-ch inline system, powering four CROWN ES 224. Each speaker has two 10 in. woofers and 24 electrostatic panels. These are known to soak up power and originally were "mated" to CROWN DC300s....and I was biamping. I had therefore four DC300a's. The improvement in sound quality when I removed the CROWNS and replaced them with the 755 was remarkable. So much cleaner. I think in part (and according to Scott & Steve) it is due to (1) more headroom; (2) more reserve power...unused but there. The 7500 will be even better. I bought the 7700 for my other system and it improved it as well. Hope this helps

I currently am using a 990/7500 to run a 2.1 system made up of a REL Q401E Sub and Monitor Audio GS60 towers. I am Biamping the GS60s, and have one channel left over that I will most likely use to add a center channel with at some point. I am also planning on trading out the REL to the newest Flagship sub from Monitor so that it not only matches the Speaker finish (Santos Rosewood on the Monitors, Crap flat Black on an overly expensive REL) but the newest sub sounds amazing. I just got done doing a system using 5 of the new subs along with 7 of the GS60s in a 7.5 setup for a client and was blown away.

As far as how my system sounds? It is incredible. I am a Monitor Audio Dealer and have heard these speakers used with amps from Krell, Denon,Onkyo/Integra, Anthem, Parasound and a Threshold. Now I can say I have heard them with Outlaw as well. Out of all of the amps I have listend to these speakers with, only the Threshold sounded better than the Outlaw, and just barely. It may be due to me Biamping mine, and the Threshold system was just single wired, but it was pretty damn close.

So far I love this setup.
