All right folks, I didn't know where to put this and I wanted to see if any of you were experiencing anything like this...

I am trying to figure out a problem I am having with my BDP-83. When I was watching the Toy Story 3 BluRay from the 4 Disc combo pack with BluRay and DVD, I had some audio issues. There are a few points in the movie where the center channel speaker sounds as if it is completely distorting and breaking up, like very loud clicking, or someone blowing into a microphone. I first thought it was the center-channel, but I switched the left speaker and center channel hook-ups and had the exact same noises through the left speaker. I then switched to the digital stream from the analog outs and tried the same clips and there were no issues.

I currently have the BDP-83 sending both a digital stream (Coax) and the multi-channel analog signal to my Outlaw 970. I can switch back and forth between these two methods with a single button on the remote. It seems to be an issue with the DTS-HD MA 7.1 signal...

I originally had this problem with the following firmware:
Main Version: BDP83-50-0424
Loader Version: BE2710 or BT0410
Sub Version: MCU83-27-0326
Then I switched to the Beta Firmware, reset to factory defaults, and then re-entered my settings. This is the new firmware I am running:
Main Version: BDP83-52-0816B
Loader Version: BE2731 or BT0431
Sub Version: MCU83-27-0326

With the newer firmware I had the exact same problem. Does anyone have the same problem or know of a way to resolve it?
