gooomz Gunslinger Registered: 02/28/06 Posts: 258 Loc: new york	Would the Velodyne's SMS 1 offer marked improvement in my dedicated HT setup. I have 2 SVS Ultra 13 in a 20x24x10 HT dedicated HT Room. While i do not have acoustic treatments like bass traps etc.. i do have carpeted floors, acoustic drop ceiling tiles, 12 cloth HT seats, double sheetrock walls.. What should i except is i decide to use the Velodyne? Should i just get bass traps instead?

garcianc2003 Gunslinger Registered: 07/23/06 Posts: 274 Loc: Washington, DC	Did you mean "what should I expect if I decide to use the Velodyne"? You might want to download the Outlaw's Guide to the SMS-1 from the SMS-1 product page and by reading the setup process you might get some ideas of what to expect and what it is supposed to do. If you went as far as dedicating a room to HT, you should get both the SMS-1 and whatever sound treatment you think would help. That's just my opinion.

Is there a specific problem you are looking to address here or what.
