Andreas R Deputy Gunslinger Registered: 01/10/07 Posts: 2	Hi, I'm a current 1050 owner thinking of upgrading for the video switching capabilities. I have had problems with the volume control on my 1050 since the beginning. I was curious to know how the volume knob feels on the 1070? Is it heavy and smooth or light feeling? One of the things that irks me about most mid range receivers is the big plastic hollow feeling knob. Might seem like a trivial thing to most, but it matters to me. Thanks for your input. Andreas

If it really matters to you that much, then you might have issues with the 1070. Sound on the Yamaha was a bit light compared to the 1070...
