Hi guys,

Me again. In about 3 days I will get my 7125. I wonder for those who already have their 990 + amp working, how has changed your electrical bill? Does it really increase it a lot? In the specification says 1440 watts maximum. Since I am a dummy for this matter, in the prepro + amp configuration what it means high or low consumption? How could I control this factor.

I am concern about this matter because I am an environmentalist, therefore I should take some precautions in order to avoid bad consumer behavior.

Take care all...

Under normql use the 7125 will only draw a small fraction of the max power. Driving a normal set of speakers at 10 watts per channel will be very loud. Unless you have some problem with your hearing, it won't be a problem. However it is likely that you will spend more time listening so more power used. Your display device is much more likely to use more power on average than the amp.
