Could someone that owns the 7125 give me the exact measurements in inches of the 7125. Seems it may be really tight getting this amp in my a/v stand and I just want to make sure the amp will have plenty of room to get air. The owners manual states 5" tall and on the product page it says 5.9" with feet. Do you need to use the feet? Thanks in advance.

If you don't use the feet you risk heat damage, and an increase risk of fire in the extreme case. The measurements on the web site are correct. You also should have a 1" to 2" above the amp to exhaust heat.

Andrew is right you want to use the feet. I had a friend who took the feet off his Rotel and stacked the components on top of each other so they would all fit in his cabinet. He tried to compensate for the lack of air space by having a med. sized fan blowing directly into what little vent space was left exposed. Needless to say it did not work. He lost the amp, processor, and both front speakers when it went out. He said it did not catch fire but the finish on top of the amp had bubbled up like it had been exposed to some serious heat. Anyway, don't take shortcuts on vetilation it can only end badly for you.

Okay guys, I had no intensions of taking off the feet, I just wanted ACTUAL measurement. Just want to make sure I have plenty of space above the amp.
