I'm using usb..followed instructions from the site. I believe the hardware installation is the problem....the computer I'm using doesn't like the 990 software and let's me know it every time I try installing it. "Inf" domain errors, etc...I'm only using this old computer because it has Xp and my laptop uses win7..It could be the computer, it could be the 990 itself. I've given up on contacting outlaw for any help.....the good news is that I didn't turn the 990 into a 28 lb. paperweight. For now I'll return the old computer and be glad I came out even. Thank you for your reply.

Have you tried calling Outlaw customer support? They are available during the day. If it is an Outlaw related issue they will help you troubleshoot it. What SP are you running in XP?

Thank you for your reply. What SP?? Good question. I'll have to hook up my brother's old computer again and find that out. Combing through the old threads I noticed that some owners had better results using RS cable(as well as some SP/XP issues). I'm going to to get a cable and hook up the stuff again and give it one more collegiate try. I'll also take your advice and call tech support directly if needed. I appreciate all the help!
