Ok I updated the software to the 5/2008 version. I have large reference Paradigm front speakers, that I will set to small to set the bass correctly. What else do you suggest?

When I had Paradigm Studio 60's, I used a 60Hz crossover for the fronts and was very satisfied with the results. What other settings do you have questions about? What sources are you using? (A previous post of yours mentions a Sony DVP-CX995V DVD player and a Hitachi 42HDS52A TV.)

Thanks for the quick response. I would like to put my 7100 on top of the 990. Would there be a heat problem. The back of the cabinet is open.

There might be a heat problem for the 7100 but not the 990. I would shy away from putting any other heat source under an amplifier.

The 990 runs reasonably cool, but as a general rule I'm leery of stacking an amp under or on top of anything if I can help it. Is the front open as well?

If the equipment is to be rack mounted (probably need to use rack mount shelves unless Outlaw sells mounting ears) what would be the recommended spacing between units?

There are rack-mount ears available for the Model 2200, but for other stuff shelves are the way to go. Spacing would depend on the component. I try to keep at least an inch above my surround processor and several inches above my amp.

The front is a glass door. I got an email from Outlaw saying it was ok. I don't run it at a high level, at least when my wife is around smile
