I would like to bi-wire my new speakers to my 1050 and was wondering if I need to buy bi-wire cable or if I can simply run regular cable twice ? I have been using Monster-XP cable and would like to simply run a second set.

If I use regular cable do I need to make sure they are the same length or are there any other issues I need to consider ?

Is there a low cost supplier of bi-wire ?

I've used two separate cable runs. In that case, bare wire or spade connectors at the 1050 are recommended (two sets of bananas going to the same binding post could be a problem), although I have used bare wire for one cable and banana for the other before -- if you're using Monster XP, you should not have a problem. I'd try to get the same kind of wire for both, and try for the same length (as much for cleanliness of the wiring as anything else -- it would take a good bit of difference in length to have an effect, from what I understand).

Thanks...your comments on the connection style was actually my next question I am using bare wire now so I think I'll just go with that.
