When I turn off the center channel, enter into 4.1 mode and allow my full 40Hz+ front speakers to handle the small stuff, I get no sub woofer. What's up with that?

Is the subwoofer set to "on" in the speaker config menu?

Yes the subs are on and they play fine in all other modes. If I turn the center off so that it will spread to the fronts, then in stereo mode there is no sub output from the 950. I will also see no other modes, no X.1. I would think that the 950 should be capable of 4.1 stereo, but I guess it's just 4.0 stereo.
