Well blast it!!!

All right, you all have finaly gotten to me. I use to be fairly focused on having my gear in either a "natural" silver or champaign finish, but consarn it, you yanks have made me decide to go with the 80's simplicity of a rack of "black boxes."

Sigh,

I dont know what it was, maybe I just spent to much time in London, but I still wish there was more of a market over here for the "natural" finish to audio gear.

Anyway, on a happy note, the outlaws have my business when I have the sheckles in a month or two for the 950...

Hmm, never heard silver called "natural" before. I've always kind of preferred the black.

Silver stuff still looks antique to me, becuase that's the way most stuff looked back when I was a kid.

I just can't think of anything that's not black as "modern."

My favorite was/is the brushed gray aluminum like the older Carver stuff had. Thought it looked kinda classy. But I'm not too picky, although the painted look on the Outlaw stuff looks decidedly cheap. I'd much prefer an anodized black brushed finish myself.

A classier, non-plasticky black would be nice, this is true.

I think the intent is for a very basic low tech look.

But...

I think a nice powder coat gloss black finish would be very classy, something along the line of the Pioneer Elite.

Or, how 'bout a nice turned metal finish like the Trans Am dashboards of the 70s had? Smokey and The Bandit were Outlaws wern't they?

Sorry, got weird for a minute there.
