My first post. Go easy on me.
Just installed my new RR 2150.
Let me say that I'm very pleased. There is a lot of bang for the buck.
A quick Bio.
I just started to listen to music again. I was a huge music fan 30+ years ago.
I didn't transition well from LP to CD, then came a career, wife, kids ect.
Last year I walked into a record store in Reno NV. I expected to find bins of musty used records.
Much to my surprise, the records were new pressings.
That started it again.
After much searching, it looked as if I was going to get into $3K+ integrated tube amp. I was reluctant to spend a lot of money because I wasn't sure if I would continue the interest. Then I found a review on the Outlaw RR-2150. It intrigued me. Let me say that I'm well pleased.
I discovered that klipsch still makes the loudspeakers that I loved in my youth.
I took a chance on the Heresy III. Between the Heresy III and the RR 2150
I couldn't be more delighted. The sound stageing is remarkable.
A real pleasant surprise is the quality of the RR2150's tuner. It draws in
stations that my old Luxman R 1050 couldn't get.
On first blush, it seems Outlaw has hit a home run.
I look forward to this two channel analog journey I have begun.
Cheers

I just purchased an Outlaw RR2150 because of the tuner and past pleasant Outlaw experiences.

I have a 990 preamp and 7125 set up for our main system and love listening to our Portland jazz and classical stations in analog!

I had a Sangean HD tuner, in my den, but HD sounds like a low-bit rate iPod'ish file. At least the public stations are still paying attention to decent FM stereo.

I just replaced an Emotiva stereo pre-amp and Rotel 1070 amp with the Outlaw 2150 and am loving every minute of better sound in a traditional receiver space.
