If you reply DO NOT send any attachments or
logos...as i'm on a corporate server with MAJOR spam/filters
and even legitimate people are not getting through to me.

I don't have a personal email acct, unfortunately.

I have a 2 channel integrated receiver
(the Unico Hybrid....www.unisonresearch.com is the link...look for HYBRID)
I recently had 2 full range preamp outputs installed on it.

I wish to drive a pair of older but still good mission 731 pro bookshelf speakers (rear) whenever I play HT (I'll stick with 2 channel for my sacds).
i also just bought a subwoofer for HT, too.

Can you suggest something to attach to my Unico Hybrid integrated 2 channel receiver
(NOT to replace it, as it was modded and is a killer unit) but to supplement
it.

Many thanks, as this whole HT area is new
to me.

My inclination would be to stay with your current electronics for two-channel listening and just buy either a 5.1 HT receiver or (since you're obviously checking out Outlaw) an Outlaw 950 and an Outlaw five-channel amp.

I think trying to use the output of your existing integrated amp would be just more trouble than it's worth for HT.

The least expensive way to do what you want is to get a surround sound receiver that has preamp output jacks.

Use the front left and right preamp output jacks on the surround sound receiver to send a signal to a set of line level inputs to your present receiver (CD, tape, aux, etc. inputs). For surround sound use, the receiver is in control. Your stereo receiver is just being used to power the front L & R speakers.

For regular two channel application, use your setup as it is now.

If you have more money to spend, a 950 and a multi channel amp would be killer!

I'd suggest using a 950 for processing, run the front left and right output (of the 950) to your integrated and buy 3 m-200's to amplify your remaining channels...
