My wife said that we must have had a power outage last night and when I went over to turn on the 950, all of my settings were transferred to default. I thought that the 950 saves the settings no matter what, unless you unplug it. I have a Monster surge protector. Is the 950 supposed to do this everytime we have a bad storm?

I don't know if it is normal to reset to default but mine has done it twice in the past year due to power outage. This would make it happen about 20 percent of the time.

I lost power this last week durring Ivan and lost power for about 35 hours... the only setting I had to change on the 950 was the "VFD Brightness" back to half...

I had one power outage here at the new house a few months ago that caused my 950 to lose its settings, but it's only happened once - and the 10.5 day outage last year didn't affect it at all.
