And yet more damage ... on the underside of the HDMI sub board this time, and it was the lack of HDMI/ARC that led to this investigation! I think the four caps are fine, just glued down, but there's a swath of splash and corrosion across a bunch of SMCs and at least one transistor can and that corner of the board is near the burnt wire and main board damage ...full sized image and here's a thumbnail ...
