My network does not recognize my 2160MkII. The unit recognizes that my wifi network exists.

What I want to do is to stream music from my computer to the MkII. Does the WiFi just connect to internet radio? The reason for asking is that I'm probably going to have to ditch my Apple airport set up and go to a mesh system. I can't figure for the life of me I would make a mesh work with this unit.
