My 755 has been a great amp. Almost 10 years old now and it still sounds amazing. My trigger turn on circuit is giving me problems however, and im almost 100% sure the 3mm mono socket on back of the 755 is the problem. Fitment, when inserting the cable is loose, as if the contacts inside have relaxed and only touch intermittently. I know the circuit needs to be satisfied all the time, or it powers off. I have 5.5 volts coming out of the trigger ports of my 976 and Outlaw support says that is sufficient. Ive tested this voltage supply from the 976 and it remains constant.
I either need to repair this socket or eliminate the turn on circuit.
Anyone have experience with this issue ?
I see there was discussion about this about 4 years ago, but no resolution was posted !

In the remote chance someone has an idea on this, im adding info.
I dont expect this legacy section gets much attention, but here goes :

The issue is not the trigger as i initially thought. As ive discovered, if i lose trigger voltage at any time, the amp powers off.
With both power switches and the trigger voltage supplied from my Outlaw 976, the amp will not turn on until the Master power switch on the rear panel of the amp is cycled off, then back on. The amp will then power up and run flawlessly for as long as i need it to. Ive checked that the trigger voltage is constant.
No other sequence of switching will work. Accessing the rear panel to do this is getting tedious smile

Ideas anyone ?

I wish I knew what to tell you. I have a 976 feeding a 7900 but haven't had an issue like this. But at least you know there is someone listening. I haven't been active in a little while and I was shocked to see there was no one here when I found the saloon again last week. Still some good products here, but not like before. I love my Outlaw Audio gear. Good luck to you!

I had this problem with one of my XPA-1L amps and I finally had to pop the cover off and play with the trigger jack connection.
This fixed the problem.
You might try to see if you can clean the inside of the connection somehow with a little isopropyl alcohol.
