Is there a reason my TV powers on and off when the 976 is powered on and off? Am I missing something? HDMI ARC is the connection to the TV.

Check the CEC options.

Reet.

That was it. I turned it off. Thanks.

I'm not sure if you can help with this question but I have a very low sounding static coming from font speakers when the 976 is both on and off, until the separate amp finally powers down. Nothing from my surround speakers which are a separate amp.

Any ideas?

Answered my own question but thought others might find this interesting.

Never had a problem with static (noise) coming from my Adcom Amp which powers my mains/center when I had my 970.

As soon as I hooked everything up to the 976, I had very faint static even with the 976 powered off.

I've always had the ground lift switch on normal so I switched it to lift.

Problem solved.
