Very little music actually contains frequencies below 40 hz. The M8 sub will easily handl3 that and lighten the load on your amp. If you typically listen to a lot of classical music especially with organs you may want something larger like the x-12 or 2 M8s. If you eventually decide to go into home theater the X12 would serve better.
