I am curious if this will have both the single and dual DSP configurations in the first release - or as stated in the original message from January, it will be a separate announcement. Basically the question: if I want an atmos enabled pre-pro before new years - should I get the 7703 or wait for the 976 wink
I believe the 976 will not be Atmos capable. It is a 7.2 channel processor.

LOL, they posted pics of the 976 and them being boxed on 11/2. What do you doubt?

Um how about the pre order page? This entire process has been insane, sorry.

Yea, the 976 is NOT Atmos but they'll be using it's framework for the flagship processor to follow and that will include Atmos. If you're looking for Atmos now, go with the 7703.

What exactly does a preorder page mean in the grand scheme? Oppo does the same thing, and the preorder page goes live right before shipping, not a month before...

Your posting is insane, sorry.

Nice. No mention of DV in the specs? Maybe "all forms of HDR" cover that?

I'd take it to mean DV included.

Yeah, we've had Helson and a few other people see the page before it has been posted on our product index page. Some of the specs need to be updated; the manual is being finished currently and will then be put on the Model 976 page. At that point, the Model 976 page will be correct, finalized, and will be up everywhere on the site.

Exactly right; it supports all current forms of HDR.

The $100 discount is very much appreciated for those who purchased a previous Outlaw pre/pro. What will be required to verify an owner of record?

And....When will I be able to place my order?
