Will the 976 still have a linear power supply?

Sadly, I purchased my 990 more than 10 years ago, so the loyalty pricing will not apply to me. Oh well.

So flipping through the manual, it looks like there's seven total inputs allowed (6 HDMI and TV for ARC) plus the Tuner and Bluetooth. Counting the Bluetooth input, that's three more than the 975.

I have not seen the manual yet. Is it on the website yet?

I didn't know Outlaw put a timetable on the loyalty discount. Where did you see the 10-year limitation?

Edit: I now see it on the draft 976 page. Hmmmm. I'm going to have to figure out when I bought my 990 but it doesn't seem fair since I still own the product versus just having spent at least $250 on a single Outlaw item in the last 10 years. And there was no time limitation in the 976 announcement this past January: "Even better, for a limited time, Model 975 or Model 990 owners of record may take advantage of a $100 discount and upgrade to a Model 976 for $799." There is the opportunity for Outlaw to match the 976 page with what was announced in January.

Outlaw's pretty strong in customer service. It might be if you're the original owner and just a little past the cutoff they'll grandfather you in. We do that where I work. If someone is even a couple months beyond the cutoff date we'll often extend warranty coverage. In any case, it never hurts to ask. The worst that can happen is they say, "No." In that case, you're no worse off than you are now.

I’m trying to figure out if I qualify as an Outlaw Owner of record. Does anyone remember when the RR2150 came out? I’m thinking around 2005, I just don’t remember when I bought mine, I think it was in 2007. Guess I'll have to call to see if I’m golden within the decade window. I also bought the 950 back in the late 90’s, but that doesn’t qualify.

Putting a limit of a decade is really upsetting, as this loyal customer has been waiting years for this product. I feel all past Customers should have access to this promotion as a thank you from Outlaw for hanging with them.

Really hoping to get that $100 off the 976, if not maybe I'll just walk away on principle.
